Washington Boater Safety

Education Card

January 1, 2008. Washington State law requires that operators of watercraft having motors of 15 hp or greater to have completed a basic boating safety course and obtained a Boater Education Card. The card must be carried with the driver while operating a boat, much like a drivers license.

What is Adventures in Boating Washington? This is the official Washington State Boating Education Course. This eight hour course is approved by the National of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).
