Summer Hiking at Crystal Mountain
Early Summer Snowshoe Hike.
While the snow cover remains at Crystal base area, we are offering guided snowshoe hikes. This hikes starts at the Crystal Mountain base area. The hike lasts approximately 4 hours. It is easy to learn to snowshoe, so no previous experience is required. Bring your own snowshoes and ski poles or rent them from us. There may be some hiking on bare trails near the base as the snow cover melts out.
Cost: $95 (includes snowshoe rental fee)
Crystal Mountain is a haven for hikers and offers trails for all levels.
Bear Gap Hike, Pacific Crest Trail
Start at Crystal Mountain Base and hike through meadows and forest to reach the Pacific Crest Trail for spectacular views of the Cascades and Mt Rainier. Meet your guide at 930am in the plaza by the Gondola. Return to Base around 3pm.
Cost: $25 per person (min. 4) (difficulty = moderate)
Gondola Ride - Alpine Lake Hike
Ride the Gondola to the summit and hike back to Base through meadows, forest and pristine lakes. Wildlife, wildflowers and scenery. Meet your guide at 930am in the plaza by the Gondola. Return to Base around 3pm.
Cost: $25 per person (min. 4) (difficulty = moderate) (does not include Gondola ticket)
